01What Bluey Vuitton is
Bluey Vuitton is a Psilocybe cubensis line supplied as a spore syringe. It is the pigmented parent of the ABV family, and the library carries both of its albino descendants alongside it.
02Lineage and history
The library's record of this line is unusually specific. It puts the start at circa 2014, credits the original work to the breeder known as Silly Cybin, and describes Bluey Vuitton as a hybrid of Panama x Melmac Penis Envy.
Both parents matter:
- Panama is one of the old regional cubensis lines, named for the locality its founding material came from.
- Melmac Penis Envy brings the Penis Envy inheritance: thick stems, caps that rarely open fully, and famously thin spore deposits.
From Bluey Vuitton came Albino Bluey Vuitton, and from that, A.C.S produced the isolates the library now carries: the A.C.S iso and the numbered ABV440. The related MRRL, a Melmak revert, sits on the same Penis Envy side of the tree.

03Under the microscope
Bluey Vuitton is pigmented, so this is the reference slide for its own family: subellipsoid, thick-walled spores around 11 to 17 micrometres long, a germ pore at 1000x with oil, purple-brown in mass. The Penis Envy inheritance may show as a thinner deposit than a Golden Teacher-type line, so do not be surprised by a sparse drop.
Its real value is comparative. Put it beside either albino descendant and the pigment difference is unmistakable at the same light level, which is much more informative than comparing two unrelated lines.
