Exotic and wild-collected Psilocybe spores

This is the part of the library that behaves most like a reference collection and least like a shop. These are species outside Psilocybe cubensis, most of them traceable to a named collection site rather than to a breeding programme, and several of them represent the only material of that species in UK circulation.

Provenance is the point here. Where a line came off a specific tour, a specific ranch or a specific patch of ground, that is recorded in the product name and kept there. A wild-collected line without its locality is worth much less to a taxonomist than the same material with it.

What is in this collection

Psilocybe azurescens, a wood-loving Pacific Northwest species with notably distinct morphology. Psilocybe mexicana, represented here by two separate named collections, Monte Grande and Rancho Agosto. Psilocybe zapotecorum from Rancho Viejo, collected on a documented 2024 field tour. Psilocybe ingeli, a southern African species that rarely appears in any catalogue.

Each is listed with whatever provenance we hold. Where we do not know a locality, we do not invent one.
